Digital Marketing Specialist (SEO) – 12 month fixed term contract (Click to expand)


Main purpose of role:

We are looking for an experienced SEO Specialist for our in-house Digital Marketing Team. This is a 12mth fixed term contract to cover maternity leave, although subject to performance, the incumbent may be offered a permanent opportunity.


The role requires someone to be able to hit the ground running and take ownership of multiple clients.


The ideal candidate will need to be analytically minded and self-motivated, with the ability to build marketing strategies, work collaborativelty with the Account Management Team, and contribute to the growth of our business.


As this is a specialist role, you will need to possess technical SEO experience, gained either through a digital agency, or in-house marketing team, and have demonstratable knowledge of improving organic performance. Experience in the Automotive arena is preferred, although not essential.



Digital Marketing

Main duties and areas of responsibility:

  • Creation and implentation of multiple SEO strategies.
  • Perform technical audits and identify areas of improvement.
  • Perform comprehensive keyword research.
  • Monitor performance through Analytics and identify growth opportunities.
  • Identify & acquire high-quality backlinks.
  • On-page content creation.
  • Work collaboratively with Paid Marketing specialists to deliver holistic strategies.
  • Contributing to proposal development.
  • Reporting

Essential Skills & Experience 

  • SEO experience gained through either a Digital Marketing Agengy, or in-house.
  • Thorough knowledge of GA4.
  • SEO tools such as Semrush, Ahrefs etc.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Build and sustain rapport with clients and colleagues.

Desirable Skills & Experience 

  • Automotive SEO experience
  • Google Tag Manager experience.
  • Experience working in a B2C environment.
  • Qualifications in a Marketing discipline.
  • Understand website architecture and development.

  • Keeps up to date with industry developments.
  • Keeps up to date with standard qualifications.
  • Shares knowledge with others.

Planning and Organisation

  • Plans campaign activities and liaises with internal departments to see things through.
  • Contributes to strategic debate.

  • Presents advice on behalf of the company as an expert in an ethical and expert way.

Building and Maintaining Internal / External Relationships

  • Builds relationships with clients through the right advice and strategy.
  • Builds internal relationships through knowledge sharing.

  • Handles difficult situations and discussions with ease.
  • Is able to communicate technical elements to non-technical people.
